The Problem

  • what is the problem?
  • The problem is poverty.
  • why do I care?
  • I care because orphan children who lose their home isn't able to get the education needed to make a living. Especially in Haiti, after the earthquake, property was destroyed leaving buildings and homes destroyed.
  • why should others care?
  • Other should care because knowing that their are so many children without a home and no education to make a living, we are really lucky to be living in a home and being at a school which is maybe one of the most successful school in Calgary. Even at some places in the world like Haiti, we can feel so special then those who live in Haiti who got injured, homes got destroyed or they are not able to get the education that they need.
  • what can I do about it?
  • I can make others care by advertising charities that help the hungry like the mustard seed or donating my families old clothing and money to the different kinds of charities. I can also ask my friends if they have any old clothing that their families can donate to the different kinds of charities.
